Equivalent Fractions

Let's learn about equivalent fractions in today's session. One of the most important exercise based on fractions is identifying equivalent fractions. Two or more fractions are given and one need to identify whether they are equivalent or not.

Two fractions are equivalent if after simplifying the fractions, its simplest forms are similar. Thus in identifying equivalent fractions, simplifying fractions is involved. As for example given numbers are, 1/2, 3/6, 4/8, 5/10 are a series of numbers.

After simplifying we get that each fraction values as 1/2. Therefore all of these are equivalent fractions. For more help, one can also avail it from an online tutor. Not just fractions but students can go for geometry tutoring and others as well.

Converting Mixed Fractions

Let's learn about conversion in fractions.

Converting mixed numbers to improper fraction is a very important operation in fractions. A mixed fractions first need to be converted to an improper fraction and then only all the operations can be performed with it.

Same can happen in the vice verse case i,e converting from mixed fractions to improper fractions. There are also available online converting mixed fractions to improper fractions calculator and the vice verse's a as well

Next time we will discuss about how to reduce fractions and till then enjoy converting mixed fractions and so on.

Also one can avail to a math online tutor and get their required help. Not just math, one can go for trigonometry tutoring as well.

Math is Alpha Numeric data

Let us know what is Integers definition
Positive integers are whole numbers more than zero: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, \. . Negative integers are opposites of the whole numbers: -1, -2, -3, -4, -5, … . They do not think about zero to be a positive or negative number.
For each positive integer, there is a negative integer, & these integers are called opposites. For example, -3 is the opposite of 3, -21 is the opposite of 21, & 8 is the opposite of -8. If an integer is greater than zero, they say that its sign is positive. If an integer is less than zero, they say that its sign is negative.
Example:
Integers are useful in comparing a direction associated with sure events and integers rules. Suppose I take three steps forwards: this might be viewed as a positive 5. If in lieu, I take 8 steps backwards, they might think about this a -8. Temperature is another way negative numbers are used. On a chilled day, the temperature might be 10 degrees below zero Celsius, or -10°C.Improve your Knowledge of Math Here ...

Introduction to geometry in real life:

Geometry is an element of arithmetic which is concerned with questions of shape, size, the relative position of figures and the properties of space. In earlier, geometry is collection of empirically discovered principles which concerns about lengths, areas, angles and volumes which were developed to meet some practical require in surveying, construction, and various crafts. There's various fields of life where geometry is regarded as an important field of study.

The general applications of geometry in our every day life are as follows:

* Geometry is the useful homework now to define relative physical locations.
* Geometry can be used to design physical structures and objects and to select the various location and Learn solving math Online elevation of physical features on the Earth's surface.

Introduction to logarithms calculator

If x = by , then y = logb (x). log means logarithms
Note: base b not be equal to 1 and x and b should be positive numbers.
Here b is Known as base. so, "Logarithm of x to a given base b logb x is the power y to which the base b must be raised in order to get the original number x".
For example,
102 = 100, so log10100 = 2
The 100 logarithm to base 10 is 2, as when we raise power of 10 to 2 times, we get 100 .
The bases used most often are :
a. base - 10 for the common logarithm,
b. base - e for the natural logarithm also known as Napier logarithms <>, loge x can also be denoted as ln x.
c. base - 2 for the binary logarithm.
An important feature of logarithms is also would you like to know differentiation calculator:
The logarithm of the product of 2 numbers to some base is the sum of the logarithms of those numbers with same base, which means we can reduce multiplication to addition.
log (xy) = log (x) + log (y)

The prime numbers (or prime integer, often basically called a "prime" for short) is a +ve integer p>1 that has no positive integer divisors other than 1 & p itself. A prime number p is a positive integer consist exactly one +ve divisor other than 1.)

For example, the only divisors of 13 are 1 & 13, making 13 a prime number, while the number 24 has divisors 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 12, & 24 (corresponding to the factorization 24=2^3·3), making 24 not a prime number. Other than 1 any +ve integer which are not prime are called composite numbers.

Prime numbers are the numbers that cannot be factored or, more exactly, are numbers n whose divisors are trivial & given by exactly 1 & n.

The number 1 is a special case which is thought about neither prime nor composite. Although the number 1 was thought about a prime , it requires special treatment in so plenty of definitions & applications involving primes greater than or equal to 2 that it is usually placed in to a class of its own and the list prime numbers.

A nice reason not to call 1 a prime number is that if 1 were prime, then the statement of the essential theorem of arithmetic would must be modified since "in exactly one way" would be false because any n=n·1. In other words, distinctive factorization in to a product of primes would fail if the primes included 1 need Math Problems Help.?

Who states "Why is the number 1 made an exception? This is an issue that schoolboys often argue about, but since it is a query of definition, it is not arguable."

Introduction to plot line graph:
Scatter plot and line graphs are the important types of graphs in math. Scatter plot is mainly used to collection of large data and with the help of this we have to determine the position of the data. Line graphs are similar to scatter plots but here individual data is marked on the graph and they are joined by the line. In this article we are going to study about scatter plot and line graph with suitable diagrams and examples.

Scatter plots:
Scatter plots describes the relation between 2 variables by displaying dot points on the 2 dimensional graphs. The variable that is marked in the x axis is known as the explanatory variable and then the variable that is marked in the y axis is known as the response variable. Here scatter a line plot are marked by the dot in the graph plane. But this dot represents the several number of data.
Diagram of the scatter plot:
Scatter plots
Uses of scatter plots:
Scatter plots provides the relationship between two variables. They are strength and their size, outliers and then shape.
Resultant facts:
  • Data points are closed under the trend line with an upward slope then that scatter plot has strong positive correlation
  • Data points are closed under the trend line with an downward slope then that scatter plot has strong negative correlation
  • Data points are look like shotgun blast then no correlation is there Look here for math help.

Introduction to plot line graph:
The coordinate graph is called as a Cartesian plane. The graph contains a few vertical lines called coordinate axes. The vertical y axis value and the horizontal axis value is the x axis value. The points of intersection of those 2 axes values are called the origin of coordinate graphing pictures. To a right point of the origin on the x axis value and above the origin on the y axis represents positive real numbers. To the left point of the origin value on the x axis or below the origin on the y axis represent negative real numbers. In this article we shall discuss about plot a line graph.

For line plot example:

Example 1:
Solving the given linear technique equation and plot the line graph.
2x - y – 8 = 0 ----- (1)
Solution:
In the first step we reduce the equation (1) in the form of y = mx + c, we get the following term
2x – y - 8 = 0
2x – y = 8
2x = y + 8
Multiply -1 for equation (1), we get
- 2x = - y - 8
y = 2x – 8
We plot the table for above equation, there we get Incredible Online Math

Introduction for types of functions graphs:
Function graphs f is the collection of all ordered pairs (x, f(x)). In particular, and the real number is x, a graph means the graphical representation of this collection , in the form of a curve on a Cartesian plane, together with Cartesian axes, etc.Curve sketching is Graphing on the Cartesian plane. An ordered pair (x1, x2) of real numbers can be an function input x , the graph is the collection of all ordered triples (x1, x2, f(x1, x2)), and its graphical representation is a surface .

Types of Functions Graphs for Exponential:

For any number a ≠ 1,a>0, the function f : R → R defined by f(x) = ax is called an exponential function.
Note: R+ (the set of all positive real numbers) for exponential function the range
Examples of this types:
Draw the graphs of exponential functions examples f : R → R+ defined by (1) f(x) = 2x (2) f(x)=3x (3) f(x)=10x
Solution:
For all these function f(x) = 1 when x = 0. Thus they cut the y axis at y = 1. For any real value of x, they never become zero. Hence the related curves to the above function do not meet the x-axis for real x. (or meet the x-axis at − ∞) Fig

Introduction for intermediate algebra Help:
Intermediate algebra is the branch of mathematics concerning the study of the rules of operations and relations, and the constructions and concepts arising from them, including terms, polynomials, equations and algebraic structures. Together with geometry, analysis, topology, combinatorics, and number theory, algebra is one of the main branches of pure mathematics.
The part of algebra called elementary algebra is often part of the curriculum in secondary education and introduces the concept of variables representing numbers.

The Fundamental Operations in Intermediate Algebra

In intermediate algebra and in other branches of mathematics, letters are used to represent numbers with unknown or unassigned values.
A number represented by a letter is called a literal number, and any number expression in which one or more number symbols are letter is called a literal expression.
In any number expression the parts connected by the signs + or - are called terms. An expression by either of the signs + or – consists of one terms, and is called a monomial. An expression consisting of three terms is a trinomial. In general, an expression consisting of two or more terms is called a polynomial in intermediate algebra.

xor truth table

-->Introduction of XOR truth table: This article is about XOR truth table and the operation of the XOR gate. XOR gate is used in electronic logic gate. The XOR gate sometimes called as EOR gate. XOR gate is a digital logic gate that provides exclusive disjunction. Exclusive disjunction acts based on the truth table which is shown below. XOR operation is implemented for two or three input and it is represented by the symbol .
The below table shows the XOR truth table.
XOR truth table
From the above truth table if the output value is true (or) 1 when the one and only input value is true (1). If both the input values are true(1) or false(f) then the output value is false(0). We can easily understand the XOR truth table by the sentence “one or the other but not both”.
Meanwhile you may also get homework now help instantly.
The XOR operation performs the operation addition modulo 2. In computer it is used to perform the binary addition. XOR gate is used in many authentication processes and it is used in half adder.

Adjacent angles

-->
Two angles are Adjacent if they have a common side and a common vertex . Adjacent angles, often shortened as adj. s, are angles that have a common ray coming out of the vertex going between two other rays. In other words, they are angles that are side by side, or adjacent. Adjacent angles are angles that will never meet and are marked with two lines on the line. Two angles are adjacent angles if they share a common vertex and side, but have no common interior point.

Angles and types of angles are many like, acute angles, complementary angles, supplementary angles, right angles, etc.
Acute angles are angles with a measure between 0° and 90° or with less than 90° radians. Acute angles are the smallest, being between (but not including) zero and 90° Note also that acute triangles are those where all the interior angles are acute.

Conditional Probability

Conditional probability is the probability of some event A, given the occurrence of some other event B. When in a random experiment the event B is known to have occurred, the possible outcomes of the experiment are reduced to B, and hence the probability of the occurrence of A is changed from the unconditional probability into the conditional probability given B. The conditional probability fallacy is the assumption that P(A|B) is approximately equal to P(B|A).

There is also a concept of the conditional probability of an event given a discrete random variable. Such a conditional probability is a random variable in its own right.

Discrete probability distribution is a probability distribution characterized by a probability mass function. Among the most well-known discrete probability distributions that are used for statistical modeling are the Poisson Distribution, the Bernoulli distribution, the Binomial distribution, the geometric distribution, and the negative binomial distribution.

EQUATION OF A LINE

Methods for determining the equation of a line usually depend upon some knowledge of a point or points on the line.

An equation of a line is usually written in one of these forms:-

Ax + by + c = 0

Sometimes called the Standard form

Y = mx + b,

Where m is the slope and b is the y – intercept and is called the Slope intercept form
Any line that is not parallel to the Y axis intersects the Y axis at some point. The x coordinate of the point of intersection is 0, because the Y axis is vertical and passes through the origin. Let the y coordinate of the point of intersection be represented by b. Then the point of intersection is (O,b), as shown in figure 1-8. The y coordinate, b, is called the y intercept.

In point slope form we can write equation of a line through a point P(x1 , y1) with slope m is given by

y - y1 = m(x - x1)

The point-slope form may be used to find equation of a line through two known points

Find equation of a line that passes through the point (-2 , 5) and has a slope of -4

Substitute y1 , x1 and m in the point slope form of a line

y - y1 = m(x - x1) y - 5 = - 4(x - (-2)) y = - 4x - 3
